Alpha Orphans Academy & Orphans Home

Alpha Orphans Academy & Orphans Home was founded in 2006 by Pastor Isaya Ouma Owak in Migori, Kenya. Born in 1968, Pastor Isaya Ouma Owak has great love for suffering children and he believes that as long as there are children suffering out there in the streets, there is no true love in the world.

As a child he always dreamed of helping people. He always had some vision that someday he would establish a home to provide nurturing help to street orphans.

His vision become a reality in June 2006 when he, opened the Alpha Orphans Academy & Orphans Home and took several Orphans (Boys and Girls) from the streets.

The School which is run on a family style basis has over 63 Orphaned Children. Several local people are employed to help with the running of the Schools, with preference often being given to those in need.

Alpha Orphans Academy & Orphans Home’s main OBJECTIVE is to reach out, Help, Care for, offer Education and Give Street Orphans a LOVING home atmosphere, a place to heal from the past, and an opportunity to gain a fresh start in life.

The School has the following Programs

1). Home Based Care - The School gives the Orphans a loving home atmosphere. Alpha Orphans Academy & Orphans Home has teamed up with HELP FOR ORPHANS INITIATIVE SUPPORT in providing home based care.

2). Education - By using a church hall, Alpha Orphans Academy & Orphans Home offers Education to the Orphans under its care. Alpha Orphans Academy & Orphans Home currently has a Nursery class and Elementary classes one to six.
